LED
TREATMENTS
LED (Light emitting diode) therapy is a non ablative, non invasive skin treatment for various conditions including acne, rosacea, hyperpigmentation and the ageing skin.
It is used to stimulate collagen and elastin production in the skin, thereby reducing inflammation and promoting healing.
Each treatment takes about 20-30min and up to 8 treatment sessions may be required.
There is no downtime!
Dr. Jodi Bibby performs all LED treatment sessions at UrbanGoddess Aesthetics in Saskatoon.
PERSONAL
ASSESSMENT
During the consultation we will discuss your treatment goals and desired outcomes. An assessment will be made of the best treatment plan going forward which may incorporate LED treatments and a skincare regimen.
Once we have settled on a treatment plan, the number of treatment sessions required will be addressed and your future appointments can be planned.
Photographs will be taken before and after treatment sessions to provide objective evidence of treatment outcomes.

TREATMENT FOLLOW-UPThe area under the chin will be cleaned and a topical local anaesthetic applied to provide more comfort during the treatment. Once the numbing agent has set in, a grid will be applied to the area as a guideline to aid injections. A small gauge needle will be used to inject into the marks indicated in the treatment area. Each treatment will require multiple injections and usually takes about 20-30min. Following the treatment, the area will be cleaned once again and an ice pack applied to ease any swelling and tenderness.
